The aim of the forklift course is to prepare candidate operators to professionally but also safely operate forklifts in the categories:
Mechanical lift trucks with mechanical lift drive with boom, and mechanical lift trucks with mechanical lift drive with the exclusion of boom trucks and forklifts with the operator lifted with the load (former name: II WJO) also known as high lift trucks, front lift truck, side lift truck, regular truck or pallet truck.
Mechanical lift trucks with a boom and mechanical lift trucks with a lift attendant (earlier name: I WJO) also called telescopic handlers or boom trucks, specialized forklift. Doing a qualification for a higher class of specialized forklift – IWJO forklift – the qualification is for all types and categories of forklifts, but for a shorter validity period.
